The unique KPH horsebox shape is the perfect balance between aesthetic appeal, functionality and most important of all, a pleasing, safe environment that is comfortable for your horses.

Designed to look stunning whilst reducing fuel consumption and wind noise, our exclusive curved roof system sets it apart in any crowd. The curved roofline flows into the Helios Luton pod and gives a massive 8’ 6” of horse headroom.

Integral to this clever design feature is the full grooms bed above the toilet and shower area, this is done without spoiling the streamline shape or adding to the overall height of the horsebox.

Helios HGV range – from 10 to 26 tonne

For our Helios HGV horseboxes, customers requirements can vary dramatically, so each one is individually crafted to meet exacting standards. The stunningly shaped design of the curved roof system flows into the Helios luton pod.

Overall length of up to 12 metres and the option of up to 3 slide out sides.
Massive internal height of up to 2.59 metres (8’ 6”).
Depending on the chassis size, payload falls between 4 tonnes and a whopping 12.5 tonnes.

For longevity we have used stainless steel wherever possible. We have designed our stainless steel partitions and ramps to be safe, practical to use and just as stunning as the rest of the horsebox build and backed up with our comprehensive two year warranty.

Our quality standards have been approved by UK Police Forces and we are the sole supplier of bespoke Police Horseboxes.

Plus, KPH are a VBRA approved horsebox manufacturer.

As each Helios HGV horsebox is a totally bespoke build, we set plenty of time aside for email questions followed by (Covid-19 safe) design meetings. We pride ourselves on delivering bespoke horseboxes that fit our customers’ needs exactly. Living with a compromise almost never works, so any time spent deciding living/horse area sizes and all the other choices, right up to how many slide out sides, is time very well spent. This is why our customers keep our horseboxes for a very long time.

As each build is unique, starting the quote process requires a wish list from the customer including as much information as possible.

Helios HGV Customer Testimonial

It all started in 2011 – after researching a proprietary horsebox manufacturer, including a test drive and two bespoke horsebox conversion companies, we decided to appoint Kevin Parker Horseboxes (KPH) to build our first horsebox. The basis of this decision was the good reputation that KPH horseboxes had established, which was determined by research through the internet, followed by a lengthy visit to the KPH workshop where we met Kevin Parker and Russell Blamire. This was our first KPH horsebox, a 7.5 tonne built on a second-hand DAF LF chassis.

Fast forward to Oct 2020 and we took delivery of our 4th KPH Horsebox, a HGV Helios Horsebox (26 tonne DAF CF340).
